Now we have been given hope of a reopening date, which is exciting news, but still a long way off.
Since the first lockdown we have only been allowed to trade 107 days. That is less than a third of the year. During this time, we were also hit hard by the 10pm curfew which saw us lose 30% off our trading week alongside capacity reductions of 75%.
After all this, and perhaps the most stressful and trying year in hospitality the Fountain has changed and adapted, with new food offers, brunches, roasts, cabaret supper shows, anything we could think of to survive.
We cant wait to be back in full swing and dance under our mirror ball once more.
Until then we want to be even more active in supporting our team, helping our artists and ensure the Fountain is ready for when we reopen.
Although we have received support from our Brewery and local grants this has only helped with the ongoing fixed costs occurred even when closed.
We are not asking for donations, instead we are asking you to pay it forward.
Support us now, so we can look after you when we re-open.
We have created our own currency Fountain Pounds. This means whatever you invest during lockdown is what you get back to spend with us when we reopen, with the added bonus of 10% off your bill.
Our Fountain Pounds are available in denominations of £10.*
