Update 11.5.19

We are slated to open 1/2 of the new park on Friday November, 15th 2019.  This new brand new section will bring a new aspect to the Fort Wayne Indoor (FWI).  The FWI has never had a legitimate "Street" course until now. The street course along with the same 3' spine mini ramp has been redesigned as well, which makes us ready to take on the cold weather blues.

The other 1/2 of the park will be of the "Wooden Bowl" Style with unique hips and fun for all to ride.  Our focus and goals with the new building and skatepark itself is to reach out more to the younger generation by way of teaching.  We plan to beef up the levels of lessons and instruction at the FWI 2.0.

With your help we can build and maintain an indoor action sports scene that will help all generations to flourish.

We Thank you all for sticking with us all of these years.

The Fort Wayne Indoor story continues in 2019. We have secured a new building and the park will once again be rebuilt with a brand-new layout that will encompass more street skating / riding, along with a bigger focus on the younger kids to our unique sports.

The new park will still have transitions as well as a massive new mini ramp inside. We also have some options with our new parking lot that may allow us to encompass a possible area to entertain the concept of Mountain Bikes or stay open for during the warmer months.

We are on a mission to ensure that everyone around our region has someplace to call home during the long winter months as we have for the past 7 years (2 Years as New Republic Skatepark)
Dan Butler & I (Rich Hoppe) have put our livelihood on the line for the past 5 years as owners of the Indoor park.

We have had help from a big number of you all in all forms of support. Help has come in many forms, from cleaning, volunteering, building, moving piles of wood, donating wood. metal, screws, drills, from event planning and prep, welding, driving kids around, and of course all of you that have helped us raise over $30.000 dollars in cash over the past 5 years.

Our bills at the park cost no less than $35,000 per year and we could not have done it without the additional help from our community.

We thank all of you who have helped in any way shape or form, you are all appreciated more than I could ever tell you or type out on this computer.
We at The Fort Wayne Indoor are committed to making sure the next generation has an opportunity to explore these fine sports and will simply not give up.

There are many obstacles that have gotten in our way over the past 5 years and we have overcome every single one of them. We are committed to ensuring that The Fort Wayne Indoor is here to stay whatever it takes!

We ask for your help once again in the form of a financial commitment. If you believe that what we are doing is crucial to our kids and community then please donate any amount you can afford. If money is tight, then please share this on your social media accounts to let others know what we are up to.

From the entire Fort Wayne Indoor Family we appreciated all the love and positivity we have received over the past five years and look forward to the next five!

Thank You All,
Dan Butler & Rich Hoppe & The FWI Crew!
