Dear Members and Supporting Community!
The Fitness Equation has been and always will be committed to providing the best in fitness to you and those most important to you. Helping you attain your health and fitness goals are our top priority. Because of that commitment, your amazing support, and the dedication of our fantastic staff, TFE has received numerous best in class awards and accolades, both industry specific, and as a member of the greater Loudoun business community. This would not have been possible without your support.
Even during the COVID-19 event, our commitment to our members’ welfare remained the same. TFE stopped billing our members the same day we closed our doors, prior to the government order. We felt it was the proper thing to do even if it caused TFE some hardship. However, we had no idea how long the order would continue nor how much the economy would be affected. Over this period of time we have continued to incur expenses including but not limited to rent, utilities, taxes, and payroll. We put everything on the line to keep your fitness clubs alive. This period of shutdown has had a tremendous negative impact on TFE's financial status. We are grateful to have received some financial support from our local and federal governments. However, these did not help nearly enough in comparison to our expenses.
We’ve heard from many of you during this pandemic. Your kind words and generous offers to help support our employees and our business have kept our spirits high! Now, as we reopen, we need your generosity and support more than ever. You can help in several different ways, which would mean more to us than you could ever know. First, let your friends and family know how much TFE means to you. That a healthy, fit individual has a stronger immune system and is better able to fight off the coronavirus in addition to the multitude of benefits a regular exercise program will produce. Introduce them to the TFE family. Next, if you are in a position to help by making a contribution, we have established this GO FUND ME. Every contribution makes a difference just like every kind word and gesture makes a difference. Finally, help both TFE and locally owned Cheers Sports’ Community Tee Project, by purchasing TFE FIGHT COVID 19 tee shirts!
