<div>On April 23, 2023, Howard Women's Rugby made history as the first HBCU rugby club to ever win a regional title. <strong>On May 6-7, 2023, Howard Women's Rugby will have the opportunity to continue to make history by being the first HU women's sport to bring home a national championship. </strong>

<div>Below are a few highlights of what the team has accomplished over the last year and a half:

</li>
<li>First HBCU in any rugby National Championship

<li>Media appearances in the Washington Post, CBS, and The Root
</li>

<div>Even though we have seen a tremendous amount of growth and success over the past two years, we are still considered a university club and do not have the financial resources to support a trip as costly as nationals.
</div>

</div>
<div>Below are the costs we are looking to cover for a roster of 23 Players, 4 Coaches, and 1 Manager:
</div>

<li>$500 per person flight
</li>
<li>2 nights at a hotel 
</li>
<li>2x fifteen-person vans for 3 days 
</li>
