The fire won't break us
I don't even know where to start...I've never needed to do this before. My brother in law, Jacob Haberman and his girlfriend, Chelsey Wood (and their two cute little doggies Lola and Maddie) lost everything (EVERYTHING) in the Napa/Sonoma fire this week. They evacuated at 1AM on monday grabbing only what they could quickly and making sure that they were safe. My understanding is that their entire apartment complex is gone. The road to the complex is still closed and they aren't able to get to the site at all. Chelsey wasnt even able to grab her purse before evacuating and all of us know how difficult that alone is - no debit card, ID, etc...imagine losing your home and everything in it. I can't imagine what they (and all the other victims of this fire are going through. BUT I want to help and I hope that my friends will be able to help as well. Any small amount will provide funds for the rental deposit on a new place and the basics that they need to move forward. I estimated a goal of $5,000 but anything would be helpful at this point. All proceeds will be disbursed daily from the gofund to Jason and myself and we will then forward the funds over to Jacob and Chelsey. We are all in this crazy messed up world together and I appreciate you all taking the time to read this and consider contributing if you are able. We need to get them a place to live ASAP !! Thank you so much !! ~Jason and Stephanie Floyd
