The Final Exhibition of the Free Portrait Project!

My name is Rusty Zimmerman, and I'm fundraising to exhibit 200 FREE portraits & oral histories of South(ern) Brooklyn residents that I painted & recorded in 2023, and the only time that all 200 portraits will be together.

This funding will produce museum-quality exhibition signage, hire help to install the show & staff the gallery for 30 days, hire a marching band for the opening day parade, provide free snacks & drinks for the reception which is FREE & open to the public.

This community & crowd-funded work wouldn't exist without everyone's support, and this is my FINAL ASK in the 30 days leading up to the big show, from 02/24 - 03/25.
