the fight to keep my rights

Hello all, my name is Corey Anderson. I’ve being undergoing a financial hardship due to a constant fight to keep my son Ashton with me. Over two years ago, I was granted full legal and sole custody of my son when the courts deemed his mother with abandonment because she did not show for any of the court dates. Over the last year and a half, Ashton has seen his mother a handful of times due to her unfit environment and poor life choices. Recently she surfaced serving me court papers for custody rights. The courts have granted her visitation, but she is being unreasonable and pushing for more and more.  I must admit at this time I need help financially with maintaining these attorney fees! I am so thankful for the family and friends who have already helped me with this process as well as all the encouraging words I've been given to never back down from this fight! It has been difficult for me to work up the courage to start this page but I have to put my pride aside and do what is in the best interest of my son. My son is such an amazing little guy I truly couldn't imagine losing him after all this time. Being a single father supporting my son has truly been the greatest blessing I have ever been given. I would be so grateful for all any help that you can give, every little bit helps tremendously. Thank you to everybody who took the time to read this I know my son and I will rise above all this and continue to build this awesome future for himself and I.  All we can do is smile everyday, be thankful for what we have, and remain positive!
