This GoFundMe account is for Stacey Fett, aka the fierce lovable Coach Fett from Randall Middle School!
As of May 30th, Stacey has been in the hospital for three weeks and she still has a few more weeks to go! She contracted a normal strand of Strep throat one day that turned in to an all-out attack on her body soon after! Her body was pooling infection everywhere! Immediate surgery was taken with a throat incision and it was successful. Five days later, Surgery #2 by a Thoracic Surgeon, to drain and scrape out the bacterial infection and chest tubes were placed and hooked up to pump. Surgery #3 occurred a week ago and the surgeon was able to suture the hole in her esophagus and also placed 2x6in drains running from esophagus down to the throat incision. It's draining well and looking good so far. She lives on IV's 24/7, and hasn't had any food or drink since being hospitalized. She is being closely monitored and has the best team of Doctors, who say this was an anomaly and a RARE crazy one in a million chance of happening! They tell her that she is a Miracle! Thanks to all of her family, friends, and co-workers for their continued support!
