The Family of Ted Donovan

Ted Donovan died very unexpectedly on 12/31/2020, leaving behind his wife and three young children.  Ted was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. If Ted ever had a bad day, you would have never known it as he always had a huge smile on his face and made sure that you had one as well. You could not find a more generous and kind-hearted person. If he wasn’t playing catch or pitching batting practice to his own kids in his yard, he very well may have been down the Raynham baseball complex pitching to your kids. Ted spent hours of his own time volunteering for the Raynham Youth Baseball & Softball Association where he served on the board of directors, coached multiple teams, and stayed in the batting cages pitching to every kid no matter how old they were, how long it took or how hot it was outside! 

Originally from Brockton, Ted was proud of his Boxer upbringing and was always eager to share (some) of his old neighborhood stories. Professionally, he worked as a social worker for the state of MA where he made a career of helping those most in need. However, Ted’s most important job of all was being Katie’s husband and Dad to his adoring children:  Ashley (17), Shane (15) and Zach (8).  This fund has been established to ensure his family will have what they need during this devastating time. Words cannot express how much Ted meant to those that knew and loved him. He truly was one of a kind.
