The Family of David Bergantzel
Donation protected
I have had the biggest honor to know and love the Bergantzel Family and in that I can’t think of anyone who hasn’t been impacted by Dave and/or his family.
On March 15, 2022 after a long and vicious battle from COVID complications Dave joined His Savior, his parents, sister, and best friend. Behind he leaves his wife, Kathleen, whom as his high school sweetheart was everything to him along with his children: Michael, Suzanne, Christiana, and Rachel as well as respective of their significant others/spouses Kimberly, Dean, and Gabriel. Dave was also the proudest grandfather of Aaron and Samuel.
Anyone who knew Dave knew he was a man dedicated in his faith in Christ and that Christ-like example to all who crossed his path with his servants heart, integrity, kindness, and countless other descriptors. It’s not a secret how much he adored his family and the biggest gift we can contribute is to come along side and take care of that family for Dave.
In addition to his family, he is grieved by additional extended family, friends, his church family (Oak Park Christian Church), his community— especially Morro Bay Police Department he faithfully served for over 30 years.
I know many would like to come along side and ease that burden facing their family as they prepare arrangements for his memorial, start receiving medical bills, and loose ends. All funds raised will go to pay medical bills not covered by insurance, cushion Kathleen with some of the expenses of this season and transition. All remaining unused donations will be forwarded and donated to Oak Park Christian Church in his name.
I know I can speak for the family that they are so appreciative of all the love and support they have already received in this time.
Thank you!
