The Englander's Aftermath of Harvey

My name is Stephanie Englander, my brother in law, Chris and his family have.0 been effected by the recent flooding in Houston. While I am in Kansas City this will be the easiest way for my to try and help them as much as possible. Here is their story. As most everyone knows Hurricane Harvey hit Texas nearly one week ago. By the time it reached Houston it was a tropical storm that lingered on and has flooded the entire city. Chris, Julia and Harper were rescued by the Houston Police Department on Sunday where they floated them to safety by an air mattress. The day was surreal and a bit overwhelming. However, that was just the beginning of this adventure for them! Once they were to safety they began the tedious tasks of calling insurance and filing claims for the damage done to their home and cars. They were on top of everything to try and make this process as smooth as possible but, now they are needing a little extra help. Insurance is denying the contents of their home, all of which are ruined from the flood damage. They have lost all of their belongings, Harpers crib and toys along with every piece of furniture in every room of their home. This fundraiser is to try and make the process of replacing their livelihood just a little bit easier. I would like to raise as much as possible for them so, even if you can only spare one dollar, it will help them tremendously. The cost of replacing every piece of furniture and clothes is going to be thousands, so everything helps.
