<div>In 2025, the England U18 River &amp; Bank Fly Fishing Team returned to the world stage at the FIPS-Mouche Youth World Fly Fishing Championship after a 13-year absence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We did not return quietly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Two sector wins.
</div>
<div>Largest fish of the competition.
</div>
<div>Strongest team score on the final day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Against seasoned international programmes, England’s young anglers proved that preparation, discipline, technical intelligence plus unity can compete with anyone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now we build again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2026, we head to Ireland to compete once more at the highest level of youth fly fishing. This is not simply another overseas trip. It is the continuation of a programme rebuilding youth international angling in England with structure, integrity plus long-term intent.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funding supports:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• International travel
</div>
<div>• Competition entry fees
</div>
<div>• Specialist training venues
</div>
<div>• Technical equipment required at world level
</div>
<div>• Development opportunities for future squads
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This campaign is about more than one week of competition. It is about sustaining a national pathway for young anglers who are prepared to train hard, represent their country with humility, then raise standards for those who follow.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These athletes balance education, family life, other sports, early mornings, cold water plus relentless practice. They learn resilience. They learn teamwork. They learn how to perform under pressure. Those lessons extend far beyond fishing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When you contribute, you are not sponsoring a hobby.
</div>
<div>You are investing in youth development, national representation plus a programme determined to create legacy rather than headlines.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Idaho proved we belong.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ireland 2026 is about building on that proof.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you believe young people deserve the opportunity to test themselves on the world stage, we would be honoured to have you behind us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s continue what we started.
