Three years ago we started a new chapter in our lives as husband and wife. Over the course of those years God was preparing our hearts for our next big step in our marriage… expanding our family through ADOPTION!
God has a way of humbling us all in the plans we make for ourselves. Our plan was to get married and start a family. It was a good plan, however it was not God’s plan for us and he has shown us how His plan is proving to be better and sweeter as we move forward. We would be lying if we said we woke up one morning and just decided to adopt, our hearts had to be lead that way and as we learned more about it and learned more about our spiritual adoption into God’s family we knew there was no other course we wanted to take.
We couldn’t be more excited about what is ahead for us! We have been in constant prayer for the little one that God has planned and already chosen for us! Already so many friends and family have come along side us in these prayers and in the beginning stages of the adoption process just to get things moving.
We are still in the early stages of the adoption process. We have chosen an adoption agency and have covered the initial fees and are saving for other ones coming up. Adoption is an expensive undertaking but we know that God will provide for what he has called us to. Total cost of bringing our baby home is going to be around $30,000. Would you consider coming alongside us on this journey? Whether it is through financial support, prayers or just encouragement, it is all welcomed!
