The Douglas Park Project

At the beginning of lockdowm, two locals decided they had had enough of just saying how sad our heritage local park was looking and decided to pick up a 'hoe and go". This has snowballed from two women trying to make something look a little bit better into a full community project. We have big plans you know!! We hope to make Douglas Park a vibrant and useful space for the locals and not so locals alike.  However we have so much to do. We plan to take ownership of the park. This means we will be responsible to its maintenence. This is a big undertaking but we believe with help from the local community and fabulous volunteers, we can make is as beautiful as i was in its glory days. Can you help us achieve this ? Xxx
