The De Voto-Williams-Donaldson family home

On December 30 of 2021, the Marshall fire blew through Louisville and Superior, Colorado, destroying hundreds of homes in tight-knit communities just outside of Boulder.

One of the homes lost in this fire belonged to Rob De Voto and Emily Donaldson De Voto. They shared that home with their five children, Terin De Voto Noonan, Brannan De Voto Noonan, Cami De Voto Noonan, Libby Williams, and Johnny Williams, as well as their dog, Toby. Over the years, the De Voto-Williams-Donaldson family also opened their doors to their children’s partners and their granddaughter, Naleela, as well as countless friends and family members.

Luckily, the entire family and their dog were able to evacuate unharmed. However, their family home of 10 years is completely destroyed, along with everything that was inside.

The entire De Voto-Williams-Donaldson family is incredibly grateful for the countless friends and family members who have already reached out and shared their love, their homes, and their time with us. In response to several people asking how they can help, we have decided to set up this fund, since financial contributions are most in line with the family’s immediate needs.

This fund is being organized by the four adult children of the De Voto-Williams-Donaldson family, Libby, Cami, Brannan, and Terin. In putting together this fund, we are hoping to provide financial resources for our parents and little brother so that they are able to begin rebuilding and healing from the loss of our home.

In the immediate future, these funds will go toward buying new clothes, food, and other essentials. Additionally, it will be used to help pay for temporary, furnished housing in the Boulder area so that Johnny is able to finish his senior year of high school uninterrupted.

Beyond that, any additional funds will go toward the cost of rebuilding the family’s home, buying furniture, replacing lost items, and alleviating economic stress for the family as Johnny heads off to college in the fall.
