The DePalma Family House Fire

On Sunday, November 19th, 2017 the DePalma family [Mackenzie(19), Margie, and Steve] started their day like any other day. In the early afternoon, everything changed in seconds. Their kitchen caught fire from a pot on the stove. Fortunately, they were able to escape their home without injury, however many of their cats did not survive. The entire house is completely damaged. They were only able to salvage one basket of clothing. Essentially, the family of 3 lost everything. 

The insurance adjuster has already been to the house to evaluate the damage. The entire house must be gutted and redone except one room, which coincidently was their son's bedroom, who passed away a few years ago, at the age of 19, in an automobile accident. 

The DePalma family is an amazing family. They have had to overcome many obstacles in their lives, yet they still remain positive and always willing to help others. I am asking you to find it in your heart to help this family out in any way possible. Every little bit counts, no matter how big or small. I want to ease the burden that has yet again been placed on this family through another awful tradegy. I am also asking everyone to keep this family in their prayers. They really need all the support they can get, especially since it is right before the holidays.
