The death of Wilmar Moreno

Donation protected
Wilmar Moreno, who was a loving father to three and husband, passed away on the 23rd of December. My dad was one of the strongest people I knew, he dealt with a lot of health issues and survived many such as cancer, getting shot and diabetes. He was also having problems with his sight. He was my first best friend and he will always continue to be my friend. He was there for me since birth until I grew up into the man I am today. He made many sacrifices to provide for my mum when she was pregnant and he continued to do this even after I was born. As hard as it was for me to accept he passed away due to a blood clot, but for the people that knew him he doesn't want us to remember him in such a negative way. Even though this is hard on me and my family and many other people he lived an amazing life. People knew him for how friendly he was with others, he would start conversations with people he'd meet on the street and would bring joy to people where ever he went. Anyone that ever stepped foot into our house, he would welcome with with open arms. He would never judge anyone for who they are and would never hesitate to support his family. He told us he wouldn't want a funeral or be buried and let his body be eaten away by maggots, he had told us that he would want his ashes to be set free with the wind instead of being stuck in an urn. We want to respect his wishes so my mum needs help to be able to pay for the cremation as we're struggling to afford it, especially because of the pandemic which has made earning money harder on my mum as she's the only provider in the house.
