The Dava Way for CBAG
Donation protected
Liz & Karen are walking the 24 mile Dava Way on Friday 21st July. We hope to raise some funds for Catterline Braes Action Group (CBAG) to help them continue the fantastic work done so far to improve the stability of the Catterline braes.
CBAG have previously been successful in securing funding from Aberdeenshire Council and a local Community Benefit Fund. The group, and a team of Catterline residents, used the funds to install a trial “PLATIPUS” system of anchored sacks and netting on part of the braes. CBAG hopes to continue drainage operations and plant more trees to supplement the 400 trees planted by the community last year. To do so the group need continual funding and can only secure more grants in the future if we, the local residents (and their friends!) make an effort to raise funds ourselves so please give generously and help us secure the braes of our treasured little village and keep our houses out the sea for a few more years :)
