A Call To Action:
Camp Bohdi Inc & Sherica Dalloo are happy to announce the development of the Dalloo Family Foundation in Memory of David Dalloo, supporting families dramatically affected by COVID-19.
Our guards were down!
David was a stickler for mask-wearing and social distancing, too.
But they overlooked something that proved fatal.
A visit from a family friend, who was COVID positive but asymptomatic, unknowingly spread the virus to all six members of the Dalloo household during a one-night sleepover in their Boynton Beach home on July 31.
Ultimately, David, 33, Sherica, 32, and their four kids all were infected with COVID-19. Both Sherica and David were admitted to JFK Medical Center in Atlantis.
A Great Father & Husband
David Dalloo was born in Canada, but grew up in Broward County. He dropped out of school, but later returned to get his GED, and didn't stop there. This spring, Dalloo received his master's degree from USF in cybersecurity.
David was very determined to be successful and to prove to himself and his family that you can achieve anything you set your mind on.
David Dalloo and his family thought they were doing the right things to avoid getting infected with COVID-19. He worked his information technology job from home, his wife Sherica said, to protect his family.
Our family has changed forever,” said widow Sherica Dalloo. “I’m a widow, with four children that I have to raise, and my youngest is three.”
After 11 years of marriage, her devoted husband, David Dalloo, died on August 28 after getting the disease and checking into JFK Medical Center.
