The Daily Dish and The Dish & Dram Hurricane Eta

Donation protected
Over the last 11 years, The Daily Dish and The Dish & Dram have had the privilege of employing some incredibly remarkable and talented individuals. For the last 5 years, The Daily Dish has been helmed by Jose Rivas (Saba Colon, Honduras). The chef at The Dish & Dram, Orvin Mendoza-Aleman, came up through the ranks at The Daily Dish for over 7 years and we're incredibly happy to be able to give him the opportunity to run his own kitchen over in Kensington this year.

Much of the delicious food and cuisine from all over the world you've had at The Daily Dish and The Dish & Dram over the years have been the product of these two individuals', and an innumerable number of other Central American chefs and cooks, talent and hard work. Today, we ask you to support their friend's and families' recovery from Hurricane Eta in Honduras and Guatemala. Current sources have over a million people displaced by the storm. All weekend we will be offering a special menu of favorites: Tomalitos, Pupusas, Quesadillas, Tamales and more. Proceeds from the sales of this menu will be donated to the recovery efforts in Honduras. Secondly, at both locations we will be accepting donations of clothing and shoes all weekend. Lastly, we have started this gofundme to accept monetary donations that will entirely be provided directly to friends and family in need.

Thank you,

The Daily Dish and The Dish & Dram
