We are the "D-tox Dynamos" - and we're taking weight off in the name of charity - 40 lbs in 40 days, to be exact!! No more chili dogs, velveeta cheese, samosas, or beer (sniff, sniff). What pounds we lose we want to raise money for a good cause. $$$$$$$$
We are partnering with Peel Social Services "Share the Joy" program & Hillcrest Middle School to bring a very special Christmas to a family in need.
Our sponsored family is a single mother with three girls (ages 8, 15 and 17) who fled their home due to abuse, leaving everything they own behind. They have, up until recently, been living in a womens shelter but are finally in an apartment of their own. Because they are starting over, they need just about everything - clothing, food, toiletries, appliances, you name it.
Your donations will help us help this family get off to a new start.
