On March 22, 2025, Metro Homeschool Robotics' FRC Team 1825 earned the opportunity to participate in the FIRST World Championship in Houston, TX, from April 16-19. At the Heartland FIRST Robotics Regional, we were first pick to the winning alliance, securing our spot in the championship! This marks only the second time in our nineteen-year history that we have qualified.

The details:

• The estimated cost to get to Houston in April 2025 and provide seed money for our 2026 season is $25,000, which includes: $5,750 Championship registration, travel to Houston from Kansas City, meals, and lodging for five nights. Any amount you give will help us compete in Houston in April AND BEYOND!

• We are a non-profit organization 501c3; your donation may be tax deductible.

• Your Company will receive recognition and exposure to thousands of members of the Kansas City metro community at each Regional competition from robot signage, as well as Company logo placement on sponsor banners and team t-shirts (depending on your chosen level of sponsorship). Donate by April 8th to be included on sponsor banner for FRC Championship AND next season’s banner.
