THE CRONIN FAMILY HOUSE FIRE FUND

Donation protected

On March 28, 2018, my neighbour, Glenda-Gaye Cronin tragically passed away in a house fire in Pickering, Ontario.  The overnight blaze burned throughout her entire home, and the devastation caused the upper floors to eventually collapse into the basement.  Nothing could be saved from the home, and it was ultimately knocked down. Glenda is survived by her two children, Ainsley and Larissa.

Glenda was an adamant believer in education, and before she retired she spent her entire working life as a teacher in the Toronto District School Board.  She was also a big lover of cats (her “spirit animal”), and rescued many animals from shelters over her lifetime.  Her final cat, “G”, was also unfortunately lost in the fire.

Glenda beat cancer in 2014, struggled with mental health issues in her final years, and was sadly taken by the fire.  Her two children have been bravely putting together all the pieces, as most of the pictures, mementos and memories from their childhood home are completely gone.  Please open your hearts in aiding them with any amount of donation you can provide at this time.  Anything you can give will help. Thank you
