The Cox Family Fund

Officer Jesse Cox was involved in a vehicle accident on Tuesday August 8th, 2017 on W. Old Hickory Boulevard in the Madison Precinct. Another vehicle travelling the opposite direction veered into oncoming traffic lanes and struck Officer Cox. Officer Cox was extricated from the patrol vehicle by Fire Department personnel with serious bodily injury. Officer Cox was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital and underwent surgery for the injuries he received. Officer Cox and his wife (Rachel) have 2 small children. Officer Cox will require a long period of recovery and rehabilitation.
