Shandelle needs to travel to VERTIA LIFE in Thailand for immediate treatment before the cancer in her spine can spread any further. Unfortunately this is not cheap and will cost her and her family $75,000.
In 2013 Shandelle received the news no mother wants to hear. Shandelle was diagnosed with Stage 3C Multifocal Carcinoma Breast Cancer. The cancer was a 6.5cm tumor that had already started to spread to her lymph nodes. Through the course of 6 months Shandelle underwent extensive chemotherapy then onto financially crippling radiation. The radiation alone set back the single income family $12000. Shandelle then went on to have 3 separate operations, one operation landing her in ICU with a collapsed lung. Nathan struggling to work to keep the bills coming in and support Shandelle, two teenage daughters and an 8 year old boy, had found it difficult to keep their heads above water. Finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel, they could start focusing on the credit cards and bills they had pilled high while Shandelle received the medical treatment. Now in May 2017 they received the news nobody wants. The cancer has returned. Shandelle now has a Carcinoma in a vertebrae in her lower spine. The Covell family need our help! Throughout her struggle with Breast Cancer Shandelle bravely raised money, not for herself but for those too that are struggling with this horrific disease. She raised 100's of dollars for the Breast Cancer Foundation and now we need to do the same for her! Shandelle offers free kinesiology to cancer patients and at cancer retreats. Shandelle bravely paid it forward in the midst of her own personal battle.........now it is our turn!
