The Cora Ahrens Fund

Haley and Bretton are eagerly anticipating their first child, Cora Joy. During their second trimester, they received unexpected news: Cora has four rare heart defects and needs complicated surgery immediately after birth. 

Haley and Bretton must deliver in Peoria, two hours from home, at a hospital that is equipped to handle Cora's health condition, and where her Pediatric Cardiologist and cardiac surgeons are located. Being far from home with a recovering newborn, they are both having to leave their jobs for several months.

Haley and Bretton will have thousands of dollars out of pocket medical bills they’ll receive in the midst of the already stressful first months as a family of 3.

As of yesterday, Cora has been deemed Growth Restricted and will need to be induced two weeks earlier than planned. This leaves very little time for them to plan and we would love to shower them with blessings in this period of waiting.
