Hi, my name is Karli Gronholm and my kids are schoolmates and friends with the Cook twins. The Cook family lost their home when the Marshall Fire tore through Louisville. Chris and the twins, Braydon and Siena, had a few seconds to grab their backpacks, a stuffy, and their beloved dog Bentley. Windy and Aubrielle were not home, and of course couldn't grab anything.

Everything is gone as you can see in the photo below.

The family found a long term place to live so they have a roof. But clothes, toys, and EVERYTHING else they had needs to be replaced. It was Chris and Windy's forever home, and it was taking away in seconds. Every corner had a touch of something personal and special.

There is no way to describe the challenges that lay ahead for their family. The love from our community near and far can provide some much-needed support. The funds raised will go toward replacing basic necessities, rebuilding their home, and mental health support for the family. Insurance is not going to be enough to cover all the costs.

They are beyond grateful for the love and support they have received thus far from their amazing family, friends, and those they may not even know personally. The flow of support during this stressful and confusing time reminds them of the good in people and our community. Thank you for your support!
