The Cole Clayton PANDAS Fund

Our grandson, Cole Harrison Clayton, is suffering from Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS).  Because PANDAS is a relatively newly diagnosed disorder, the American medical community is about evenly divided about its etiology, treatment and possible cure.  Despite the Mayo Clinic and The National Institutes of Health being in full agreement about the reality of the PANDAS syndrome, insurance companies generally do not pay for treatments.

Cole's parents are doing all within their limited powers to find treatment and cures, but they do not have the resources for the very expensive extended treatments.  In the meantime, Cole and his family, and indeed his entire extended family, his caregivers and his schools are suffering from the effects of almost daily psychotic behavior over which he has no control.

We help when we can, but on retirement fixed income, our resources are also limited.

We are only estimating that the $50,000 will carry Cole through his extended treatment to include long term and regular intravenous medicinal treatments and perhaps total replacement of his immunity to further protect his body. His full treatment can begin as soon as funds are made available through your donations.

Your support will mean a new life for Cole and for his parents.  Additionally, any funds that may remain after Cole's treatments will be donated to PANDAS research and cure discovery.
