Our dream is to ensure a legacy and the longevity of the CoCo’s Foundation for the many Orphans we support.
We know with your support we will do this by raising the money to purchase Sisodwona Lodge, a property in the heart of Sodwana Bay on the East Coast of South Africa. Set in 4 hectares of land, it has previously been used by tourists visiting the area, both local and international, to access its natural diving and fishing resources.
We want to create a sustainable Eco Lodge and Marine educational centre for the International Guests, Volunteers and Local Orphans, in order to train orphaned teens in, Hospitality, Farming, Bee Keeping. Personal training, Instructors in Swimming, Diving, Marine conservation, Building, cooking to become a Chef,
to create an unforgettable experience for the paying guest and community volunteers, which is at the heart of this unique project.
I founded the charity in 2010 after an unforgettable trip to the Kwazulu Natal region in South Africa, which changed me forever. In this region alone, there are between 9,000 to 15,000 HIV orphans
Since then the Foundation has taken many Volunteers from around the world to build 66 houses, providing shelter for 340 orphans and supplied over 2.5 million meals for orphaned and vulnerable children.
The Profit from Foundation Eco Lodge that would be generated by the guests and the volunteers staying there would be used to create a funding stream to build houses for local orphans through our Build4TheFuture project.
This allows the local orphaned teens to give back to their community with their new found skills.
