Our Youth are Our Future! This includes the very ones in our local Group Homes and within the system!
BeU is a local Nonprofit Organization within Fayetteville, North Carolina, focused on mentoring our youth and helping them to recognize their abilities along with steering them in positive pathway. Visit Us Here
This organization was established from personally being in the system for 6 years (Level III, Level II, and Foster Care) and having no help from my biological parents. The home I was in at the time stepped up to not only ensure I went on a positive path, but also provided everything I needed (clothes, shoes, etc.) Without them, I really don't know where I would had been. My story would had been much different.
This holiday, we have connected with 5 local Cumberland County Group homes, holding a total of 32 youth. These children have limited support from family and are in need of clothing, shoes, winter items, and basic necessities (deodorant, toothpaste, etc.). We are raising funds to purchase as many items as possible for these youth, along with providing a hot meal to these homes on Christmas Eve. Any help is appreciated in order to make this happen.
