It is hugely unfortunate to announce that my beautiful Aunt Christine passed away from cancer last week.
As a family, we have decided in her honour, to create a scholarship fund in her memory accessible to students at the new Georgian Bay District Secondary School. Christine worked for the school board for 30 years and I truly believe she would be proud of this idea because she wanted to see kids succeed. The award will solely be based on character attributes that my aunt had. Traits like, hard worker, positive, kind, perseverance etc.
I know it is a tough time of year to donate but let’s please come together and honour my aunt and help a deserving student receive education.
