On April 27th, the Franze family unexpectedly lost their beloved patriarch, Billy Herman Franze.
Billy Herman Franze, age 72, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Lisa, and children, LaVeta (Rafeal) Stephens, Rhen (Brittany) Gainsley, Kahara and Christian Franze.
Billy was a bright and shining light to all that knew him. He was a loving father, devoted husband, and a Minneapolis music legend. His sudden death has left a hole in the hearts of those that knew him that will never be filled, and the music in Minnesota will never be the same.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers or other donations, that any monetary contributions be made to begin a college fund for his 17 year old son Christian. They are deeply grateful for your love and prayers, and thank you for loving Billy as much as they did.
