Hey, y'all!
We thought we would give this a shot, we feel everyone is doing everything and anything possible to keep going and we are not ones to back down. As most of y'all know we are still open for Curbside pick-ups from 12-6pm, Tuesday - Sunday!
We are beyond thankful for everyone that has placed orders or has walked up to order ice cream and chocolate. We are unfortunately still struggling to keep up with all the expenses it takes to run a business. Our employees have been and will always be our first priority as they are the ones that help us bring smiles to everyone that walks into our beautiful store. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we've had to cut their hours in the hope to help stay afloat and be able to hopefully still be able to pay our rent and utility expenses.
Chloe is getting ready to make a huge step in her life with going to graduate school, she has just been accepted to The University of Chicago & The University at Buffalo. This summer was going to be her last one with us but it was also going to be essential to help save up for her out of state move and school supplies.
Jennifer has been with us for almost a full year this coming May, she was definitely a blessing since the day we first interviewed her. She had just graduated high school and had officially started adulting! Her first big goal was to get a new car this year and get herself enrolled to start going to college. She has been driving around a 2004 Honda CRV that's taken her many places but is unfortunately about to give out.
These girls have so many plans for their future and as their employer, we wanted to help them more than anything to achieve their goals.
They aren't just our employees they are our family, our shoulder to cry on and our biggest fans. They help us daily to achieve our dreams and we want to be able to help them during these times too.
We will be using the donations to help them get through these crazy uncertain times, they shouldn't have to put their goals on hold. Any extra money will be going to help us with any utility expenses and rent, we want to be here for y'all after this has all passed. We won't let our dream die either, we have fought long and hard for what we have created and we will fight to keep it alive. Any little bit helps, we know we aren't the only ones struggling but even a single dollar can help make a difference.
Thank you to everyone for any donations you might decide to make we send you endless virtual hugs and a million words of gratitude. You make The Chocolaterie go round and we couldn't be anymore blessed than to have the most loving and caring customers in the world.
We will get through this and soon enough we will all have chocolate-covered faces and ice cream filled stomachs!
