More information about The Children's Room: We're a volunteer-run, 501c3 organization serving young children (birth to age six) and their caregivers. We offer free parenting and caregiving resources, and playgroups, programming and events geared towards very young children and their families. Though our free, drop-in play center is not able to be open during the pandemic, The Children's Room has pivoted to virtual support and offerings as well as small outdoor events (safety guidance permitting) to continue engaging with families in our community. Our works feels as important as ever during this time of so many great challenges. We receive no federal or state funding, instead relying on local resources and volunteers. The funds raise allow us to offer free programs to those who may not otherwise have access.
