The Children of Peggy Bowers

Those who knew Peggy Bowers knew that she was without a doubt a fighter. As a single mother of two, Meikle (19) and Sarah (21), she's spent her entire life loving them, protecting them and doing anything she could to make sure they were always taken care of. Peggy has spent the last 5 1/2 years battling Stage 4 colon cancer. However, 5 1/2 years ago, she was told she would only have 6 months to live. That in itself gave us all so much hope for her. These past couple years have been nothing short of crazy, life-changing, emotional and heartbreaking. Peggy could no longer work, spent multiple days in chemo treatments, in and out of the hospital, underwent severe changes to her body and sometimes had weeks where she couldn't pay for groceries or any bills, all while putting on a brave face for the world. As Peggy has just recently and tragically passed, her children, both in college, are left with much grief and financial burden. All kinds of bills have piled up, including but not limited to: medical bills, car insurance, a car note, and basic financial debt. Not only that, but her two college kids are left with very little to finance their cost of living. This family needs your help. Any donation of any kind is tremendously appreciated.
