There are no words to describe the devastation that Hurricane Harvey has caused in Texas and Louisiana. If you plan on donating to this cause, we ask that you consider contributing to Chartwell’s GoFundMe Page. All Chartwell Law employee donations received through this page will be matched by Chartwell, (up to $5,000.00 total). Your donation will make a difference in someone’s life during these horrific times.
The proceeds donated through the firm’s GoFundMe page will be used in the following ways:
Instead of our proceeds going towards purchases from the Red Cross’s Amazon Wish List, as originally described, we will be using the donations from the Chartwell Match to aid those who are seeking shelter at the Lone Star Convention Center. Items will be purchased through Amazon and will be sent directly to Carrie Hulon, a dear friend to Attorney Brian Searls, who will then distribute the items to the people at the Center.

We will also be making a donation to the Humane Society of the United States, who is currently deployed in Texas to aid in the rescue, transport and care of animals who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.
As we learn more, we will also assist and help those affected by Hurrican Irma too!
In the next several weeks we will have a better idea with how we can assist with more specific recovery needs.
