The Carney Family

Ann Marie is 32 weeks pregnant and in Huntsville Hospital waiting on the arrival if their precious baby boy! Her lasix and blood pressure meds doubled or tripled & her BP has gotten slightly scary trying to control. They have spent some time at ECM doing IV meds to get it down & they are running out of options. The lasix are helping her heart pump out the fluid and lowering the pressure but the lasix are also damaging her kidneys. She needs the lasix to control the fluid but also needs to back off the lasix to reduce kidney damage. If she backs off the lasix too much and can't control the fluid she becomes more at risk of carrying fluid in her lungs putting her at risk of heart failure or sending her BP into stroke level highs. They have been advised not to nurse so she can get back on the medications she needs to improve her kidney function and have been told that another pregnancy would without a doubt be even riskier than this one. Now they need your prayers more than ever. She was put on magnesium sulfate last night and took a nice little ambulance ride to Huntsville. Blood pressure is looking much better but her kidney function is still at risk. They will do labs over the next 24 hours and if it doesn't improve she will be induced tomorrow. If it does improve they will be there for 2 weeks to keep it under control and will be induced at 34 weeks. With all of that being said, baby Greyson will make his great debute into this world early. This is to help them with any surprise expenses, food, trips back & forth to Huntsville, etc! Every little bit helps! If you are unable to give we understand but you can lift them up in prayer!
