The Carly Harvey Album Fundraiser

My debut album, Kamama, consists of all original music that I put my heart and soul into. The album paints an auditory picture of the Blues family tree with its roots in the minor pentatonic melodies of Native American lullabies, flute music, and rhythms of the shuffle heard in stomp dance songs. It extends into the neighboring branches of Soul, Jazz, and Rock. The leaves will bear the fruit of this alchemical fusion while maintaining the undertones of the Blues scale and feel, finally ending in a full circle back to its roots. It's such a special conceptual project that includes my heritage, which is so important to me, and I feel that it's a beautiful fusion of my cultures that I am proud to share with the world.

Since March 2023 I have been recording at Water Street Sound in Georgetown with award-winning producer, Mark Williams. Our release date is October 1, so we are now down to the cutting floor. I have raised some funds and now it’s my pleasure to have you join the #Carlyfied crowdfunding campaign!

This campaign will be open for donations until September 30 at 11:55pm. The funds will go toward things such as:

* CD, vinyl and streaming distribution

* Studio time and engineering

* Mixing and mastering music

* Paying band members

Making this album has been my dream for so long. It will be an expression of my complete self and embody the energy and magic we create at my live shows. I’m so proud of it already, and with your support I can’t wait to bring it to life.
