Our journey through life takes us on many roads, from the most beautiful mountain tops to the darkest of valleys.  It's a wondrous journey that we share with our families and the patchwork of people we meet along the way.  With that being said, we started this Go Fund Me for the Butler Family, as they have been  traveling through that dark valley for the past several months and we want to shine some light on them.  I'll tell you a little about them.  Floyd and Carol live in Bonavista where they raised their two boys, Jesse and Robby.  Growing up the boys were involved in minor hockey, and Carol was president of BTMHA for a  time.  As a carpenter, Floyd traveled out of the community and  the province to provide for his family, but never the less he was a big part of our hockey family as well.  I can regale many great stories about our hockey road trips and the fun and laughter we all shared but I don't have enough time!  
On April 15th Floyd suffered a major health event that has affected his ability to communicate and his motor functions.  He has been at GB Cross Memorial Hospital since that time, with Carol making the daily drive to and from Bonavista.  It's an unimaginable situation and the road to recovery will not be easy; but we know Floyd is fighting every day.  This is our chance to help them in one area that we can, and that's financially.  If you could take a moment to make a donation to The Butler Family, it would be greatly appreciated.  So Floyd, Carol, Jesse and Robby, we are thinking about you and praying for a full recovery.  God Bless.
