Rebuilding the Bryants




As we all know, the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey has left a tragedy that many people are suffering from in Houston and surrounding areas. My heart is broken for all those that have lost their homes through this horrific storm. 80% of those that lost their homes are without flood insurance, which includes my best friend's parents.


 
Lainey’s parents, Michael & Linda Bryant have seriously been impacted. A week after the storm, and their property is still flooded. Their roof is completely damaged which has caused leakage in their home. They need a lot of help and I would love to raise money to help eliminate some of the stress they are going to encounter in the many months to come.

 

With their home having extensive water damage in the roof and floor, their home is beyond repairable. They will have to completely demolish what is left of their home and rebuild. I know they don’t have the means to restructure alone.  Michael’s only income is through his retirement which most of it goes towards medical insurance to take care of his disabled wife.

 

 I want to raise money to help them build a very simple, cozy home, (or possibly an ark), and rebuild it up a few more feet. All funds raised will be given directly to Lainey to contribute towards the complete removal of their damaged home, and the build of a new elevated home.

I can’t think of a more loving and generous family than the Bryants, and I cannot count how many times I have witnessed them selflessly helping others and putting others first. Lainey’s dad is way too stubborn to ask for help. I know that with an Army, we can help Michael & Linda Bryant rebuild their home!!!
