<div>On September 8th, I went in for a biopsy. Days later, the call came: breast cancer.
</div>
<div>I’m scheduled for lumpectomy surgery on both breasts on October 24th. My 91-year-old mother is flying in from California to be with me, which means the world.
</div>

</div>
<div>My surgeon recommended radiation and five years of medication.
</div>
<div>But after everything I’ve lived through — trauma, disability, and decades of chronic pain — I’m choosing a holistic and integrative approach that focuses on nutrition, functional medicine, supplementation, and frequency-based healing. These methods have real evidence behind them, but they are completely out-of-pocket.

<div>Most people don’t know I’ve lived in physical pain since I was 16 due to a spinal injury.
</div>
<div>For the last three years, I could barely walk from excruciating pain — until August 2024, when I finally found relief. I thought I was finally stepping into a new beginning.

<div>I moved to Tennessee, thrilled for a fresh start in my beautiful new apartment.
</div>
<div>But on my very first night, as I lay in bed, I felt a burning sensation… and then a lump appeared right in my hand.
</div>

<div>It felt surreal. After surviving trauma, disability from a TBI, PTSD, and years of pain… I truly thought I had earned a break.

<div>Life had other plans.
</div>

<div>Living on a fixed income means I don’t have the means to pursue the treatments that give me the best chance to restore my health.
