CPR was performed until emergency responders arrived, and he was stabilized—he is now intubated, sedated, and in very critical condition at Brenner's Children's Hospital. He sustained multiple facial fractures and internal bleeding near his spleen and small intestine, and has a collapsed lung requiring a chest tube. He is currently undergoing targeted temperature management after cardiac arrest.
