<div>In 2018, without warning, we tragically lost our beloved mother, Linda Sanders. While we are sad to have lost her, we are proud to know that many are alive today or are able to see because of Mom’s gifts of Organ &amp; Tissue Donation. However, through devastation, Dad continued to remain our hero despite the heartache of losing the love of his life. We began to rebuild as a family, focusing on what Mom cared most for in this world: <strong>giving</strong>, and while we miss her every day, we are so grateful to have been inspired by her beautiful heart and her resonating soul. Tragedy struck again for our family in 2020 with the untimely, sudden, and unexpected loss of Dad who, we believe, is with Mom once again. As orphans, we now must rebuild once again without the careful guidance and presence of our parents.

<div>We are deeply moved and inspired by the resilience of the citizens of Rwanda. Despite the insurgence that occurred in the 1990s and the devastation that bled through the streets of Rwanda, orphans just like us have grown up, rebuilt, and are re-imagining a thriving community for Rwanda. We can think of nothing more fitting or appropriate to honor our beloved parents than GIVING, which is precisely what Mom and Dad both did in their final moments on this earth. As such, we are honored to partner with Dr. Kim Harms and the Eric Harms Memorial Library group as we collect funds and gently used/new books to erect a library in the country of Rwanda in our parents’ names.
