Hi, welcome to our fundraiser page! We are the hosts, Eboné Chatman and Akilah Ffriend and our podcast show is called "The Black Creators Club". The Black Creators Club is a weekly, high energy show with a mission to elevate black voices through interviewing noteworthy change makers making a positive difference in their respective fields. We are redefining and expanding what it means to be a creator while simultaneously sharing black stories told by black people.
We started our podcast in August of 2020 with big ideas and we want to see them come to life. We are big believers in making opportunities for yourself, instead of waiting for them to be handed to us.
The podcast was only stage one!
Currently, we are in pre-production of a web series/TV Show called "The Black Creators Clubhouse". 10 Black Content Creators in a house for 2 weeks as they do what they do best: create content, live Black Twitter IRL, and have non-stop vibes while talking about major societal topics. We think this is a great opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at what content creators do. Think of a modern-day MTV's Real World meets TikTok's Hype House from a Black creator's point of view.
We are asking for donations of any kind for the creation of this web series.
Even if you contribute $5 you'll be helping us more than you know! As a thank you for your contributions, we aim to list your name in our credits as "Community Member", send discounts to our exclusive merch, and have first-dibs to our limited- edition watch party event in Los Angeles.
