Hi All,
Joe Sheppard aka Big Joe Shep or BJS is a former UK Armed Forces Veteran having served 30 years in benign & hostile environments across the globe.
He now runs a series of LIVE online chat shows covering Rugby, Local Businesses, Community and Wellness etc. He is known for supporting many great causes & promoting and local businesses/organisations.
In June 2021, whilst in UK, he had a "Cardiac Event" subsequently followed by a triple heart by-pass..... Joe has found the physical & mental health journey back at times challenging......
Having been inspired by friends & former colleagues who've undergone heart &/or strokes, he's going to follow suit and for the month of May, walk, jog, run a total of 100KM...... the 100K In May!! His friends will help and support and we are looking to raise funds for;
• Cardiac Care Teams - University Hospitals Sussex (Who treated me in UK)
• Cardiac Rehab Team Wexford (Who supported by rehab in Ireland)
• Looseheadz Foundation - Supporting Mental Health in Rugby (Who've inspired the tough timees for myself & others in Rugby)
We will put regular update videos & posts up via Joe's FB Profile and The ThreeBOD Rugby Group social media accounts.
