The Bilodeau Family

Donation protected
The Bilodeau family is happily expecting their second son Jacob April 9th, 2018. However, through the course of her pregnancy Becky and her husband Joey were informed that sweet Jacob has hypoplastic right heart syndrome, a congenital heart defect which is where the right side of the baby's heart does not form properly. This can become a major issue after birth when Jacob's heart and lungs are responsible for doing the work that the mother has provided in the womb. Becky and Jacob have been blessed with great doctors at the children's hospital that have formed a plan of interventions for his first days, months, and years on earth. Ideally baby Jacob will have a stent placed within the first 3 days after he is born, however the cardiologist fears this may not be possible due to curvature of the structures of the heart to be stented. This will mean that open heart surgery is a reality this family may have to face only 3 days after baby Jacob is born, followed by at least two more open heart surgeries(the 2nd between 4-6 months and 3rd around 3 years of age). Becky is a friend and fellow co worker, whom spends her time as an RN caring for others in the ICU. Her husband also works in the medical field as an EMT. They have a young son named Noah that cannot wait to big a big brother! Last month this family suffered the unexpected loss of her step-father at a young age, a man who they loved dearly, but also the man who would have soon been the primary baby sitter and helped care for Noah during their time spent with Jacob during his surgeries. Some of the issues that have also arisen are that they do not qualify for housing at Ronald McDonald house since they live 38 miles away and the requirement is at least 40 miles. This is a journey I know that God will carry them through, however it is a potentially significant financial strain. Any proceeds raised for them will go straight to any medical debts, gas money to and from the childrens hospital, food, childcare for Noah or other financial needs this family may have while they go on this path together. We would love to show them that, we too, are family and here to support them in any way possible. If you are unable to contribute financially, please PRAY for peace, guidance and strength for Becky, her husband Joey,  and their sons Noah and Jacob. Thank you!
