The Big Volunteer Project Kenya
Donation protected
My is Memphis-lee I am 13years old, and hoping to embark on a life changing experience with my school that will make a difference to others :)
I will be traveling to Kenya to take part in a programme that gives me an opportunity to fully immerse myself in rural African life, whilst making a difference on projects designed to promote education and alleviate poverty, drought, and human wildlife conflict.
I will also visit a local school and learn Swahili phrases with school children. Also I’m really looking forward to teaching them Basic English skills, which is something I am keen to do later in life. I will also be fully supporting the school project work.
I will spend sometime at Rukinga Wildlife Sanctuary where i will be getting involved in the wildlife conservation project work, also help to make elephant deterrent fences – a method regarded by the locals as the best way to deter elephants from their farms and prevent human-animal conflict.
I will also participate in education & environmental workshop: making paper out of elephant dung to bring a source of revenue to the community.
We will also be able to experience cleaning the oceans/beaches and making use of the waste matierals that we collect as a group as shown in this photo below which is a turtle made out of the remains on the ocean/beaches.
if any companies would like to sponsor me I am more than happy to have there company name printed on my camp international T-shirt :))) which I will be wearing at all my fundraising events :)))
please help in anyway you can:)
would like to say thank you for taking the time to read my page, and to donate if possible. Thank you very muchxxx
