<div>Well the time has come!
</div>
<div>Whilst working in housing in Worcester, myself and some of the most vulnerable people in the area have been supported by the wonderful people who work at Maggs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you have not heard of them;
</div>
<div>Maggs is a Worcester-based homeless charity, founded in 1984, that supports the homeless &amp; vulnerable throughout the county.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Maggs has two day centres, one on Deansway in Worcester (open Monday to Friday) &amp; the other on Newtown Road in Malvern (open Tuesday &amp; Friday), providing free breakfasts for rough sleepers, along with showers, laundry facilities, 1:1 support &amp; safe social gathering spaces.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They have drop-in surgeries for GPs, podiatrists, dentists &amp; more along with social coffee mornings &amp; animal therapy sessions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They have an outreach team who operate county wide, engaging with the unengaged, the vulnerable &amp; isolated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Maggs also has a Harm Reduction Team (HRT) &amp; an Intervention &amp; Transition Team (ITT) who work closely to help rehabilitate those with criminal, alcohol &amp; substance misuse problems.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Maggs Clothing Project (MCP) &amp; Maggs Accommodation Project (MAP) helps to transition individuals from life on the streets to independent living &amp; beyond.

</div>
<div>Maggs will be holding its very own festival next year - proceeds from my head shave will go towards this, as well as providing the day-to-day essentials they desperately need to keep supporting homeless and vulnerable people of Worcester
