The Big Channing Sleep Out 2023

On Saturday 25th March, 20 Channing students from Years 9 & 10 will be sleeping out under the stars in the Channing Junior School to raise awareness and money to help support homeless and vulnerable people in our community.

Students will only have a sleeping bag, a sleeping mat (or cardboard) and a torch. They will be required to buy their dinner and breakfast with only £3.00 and will have no access to technology from 8 pm Saturday till 8 am Sunday.

It’s nothing like the reality of being homeless of course, but it’s a simple act of solidarity and a great tangible way for our students to get involved and raise awareness of such an important issue.

Students will be fundraising individually as well as a group and would love it if you could support them. Every £ counts and all monies raised will be donated to charity to hopefully help make a difference in the lives of people who need it the most.
