The Bexley Sleep Out
Tax deductible
Over 500,000 Americans experience homelessness every night.
The Bexley Sleep Out is an annual camp-out and fundraiser to raise awareness and fight homelessness, specifically in Central Ohio. In the past four years, the Sleep Out has raised over $15,000, held raffles, ran a book drive, and recieved the AFL-CIO United Way High School Community Service Award.
This year, we are donating all proceeds to the Huckleberry House, a local shelter for homeless teens and young adults, ages 12-21. Proceeds will allow the shelter to find job opportunities and education for those in the shelter, provide for hygeine products and food in the shelter, and more.
The 2018 Bexley Sleep Out event will be held on April 6th (5:00 pm) to the 7th (9:30 am), and all are welcome to attend! Even if you cannot attend the event, donations are greatly appreciated!
